SPARKING CURIOSITY IN OUR FMS

HANDS-ON DISCOVERY

• Educational toys and child-friendly mats, aid your child to experience and feel shapes and sizes and recognize patterns through “touch’.
• Counting and stacking blocks help your child develop motor skills and eye-hand coordination. Jigsaw puzzles and other toys give them reason to think and question. The key is to encourage active participation, critical thinking, and a sense of curiosity and exploration.

BRUSH AND PALETTE AREA

• Starting with a blank canvas, your child gets to play artist for the day, experimenting with colours and splashes and ending in framed imagination ready to be displayed.

DRAMATIC PLAY AREA

• Stories unfold as your child gives in to his or her imagination churning out characters and themes that lead to express them further through bold sounds and gestures. Children interact with peers discovering new words and learning to hone their social skills.

SMART CLASSROOMS

• Computer-aided Learning will be introduced to your child giving them a motion-based understanding of the concepts taught. Stories will be portrayed through videos and will be more interactive.

SPORTS & FITNESS

• Set on three acres of land, Faith Model School boasts of a playing area in a safe environment and setting. From team games like Kho-Kho and Throw ball, and Cricket to shuttle badminton, basketball and skating, our sports coaches emphasise the need to provide a physical training dimension to our education system.

• Children from Class 1 onwards can now register for Karate, a martial art adopted by Japan in the 20th century. Being a Karateka means practising in Kihon (the basics), Kata (movement sequence) and Kumite (sparring).

FIELD & EDUCATIONAL TRIPS, ECA & THEME DAYS

• FMS provides scope for intellectual stimulation to gain a better understanding of topics, build cultural understanding and tolerance, and expose them to worlds outside their own. Some of the events held are Language Clubs, Subject-oriented Clubs, Colour Days, Galaxy walks, and Important days like Science Day, Community Helpers Day, Law Day, and Nature Conservation Day.

ART & CRAFT

• From colourful thumb impressions adorning the feathers of a peacock, your child now learns to be more dexterous using simple materials from daily life in their craftwork.

WORLD OF COMPUTERS

• Our children will learn to use computers at this stage to aid them in their learning, especially through videos and interactive infotainment content. Smart Classrooms will also provide a deeper insight into the subject matter already being taught.

LIBRARY

• A reading corner with age-appropriate books will see your child delve into a world of fantasy and fiction invoking curiosity and unleashing in them a reading habit that will not turn into a lost cause.
